  • Monitor project sites and support site managers in maintaining HSE compliance, including oversight and coordination involving subcontractors.
  • Identify and assess occupational hazards and help develop appropriate controls to eliminate or minimize risk.
  • Provide HSE guidance, support, and training to management and the workforce to help achieve HSE objectives and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct project site visits and audits, evaluate the effectiveness of HSE processes, identify gaps, and support corrective actions.
  • Promote HSE best practices and continuous improvement while helping build a strong safety culture.
  • Participate in the analysis of incident trends and recommend preventive and improvement actions.
  • Lead accident investigations, including root-cause analysis and development of appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintain required HSE documentation and prepare and present routine HSE progress reports.
  • Stay current on regulatory and legislative developments affecting assigned HSE responsibilities.
  • Represent the HSE function with current and prospective customers.
  • Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audit activities, including planning and scheduling internal and external audits, compiling metrics, and maintaining audit documentation.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental health, occupational safety, or a related discipline, and/or relevant professional HSE experience.
  • 4+ years of professional HSE experience.
  • Experience supporting HSE activities in construction, project, industrial, or field-based environments.
  • Ability to identify workplace hazards, support risk mitigation, and work collaboratively with project teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent technical English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within matrixed leadership and functional teams.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%, generally to support project sites.
