Each Maison proudly embodies a tradition of style, quality and craftsmanship and Richemont strives to preserve the heritage and identity specific to each of them. At the same time, we are committed to innovating and designing new products in line with the values of our Houses, through a process of permanent creativity.
YOUR MISSION
In alignment with Richemont Europe’s HSE strategy and vision, the HS&E Specialist serves as the market’s Subject Matter Expert, driving the strategic implementation, continuous evolution, and governance of comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across all Richemont Maisons and corporate locations within the Market. Working autonomously and in close partnership with key leadership, internal stakeholders, and the external RSPP (Responsabile del Servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione), you will act as a trusted advisor to ensure operational excellence, legal compliance, and a proactive safety culture.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Strategic HSE Governance: Drive the rollout and execution of Richemont Group HSE Management Policies, Standards, and Guidance across all market locations, ensuring strategic alignment with corporate ESG and HSE objectives.
- Culture & Training Development: Design, champion, and deliver high-impact training and engagement programs to foster a mature safety-first culture and build high levels of HSE capability among site leaders, staff, and contractors.
- Expert Risk & Compliance Management: Lead complex operational risk assessment strategies, proactively identifying systemic risks, emerging regulatory challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement across all Maisons and functions.
- Audit, Compliance & Incident Governance: Oversee high-level audit frameworks, inspections, and emergency preparedness plans for retail boutiques and offices. In collaboration with the external RSPP, lead high-severity incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) tracking.
- Project & Infrastructure HSE Integration: Serve as the HSE technical lead for strategic market projects (e.g., boutique openings, renovations, office expansions), ensuring safety-by-design, contractor safety compliance, and seamless execution.
- Third-Party & Vendor Oversight: Establish high standards for third-party contractor and supplier management, conducting robust evaluations to ensure complete adherence to Health, Safety, and Fire Safety regulations.
- Performance Analytics & Executive Reporting: Develop advanced measurement, KPI, and trend-analysis systems to monitor market HSE performance. Synthesize data to deliver strategic insights and actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Cross-Functional Advisory & Committees: Act as a core technical leader on the Local HSE Management Committee alongside the external RSPP, advising executive stakeholders on safety performance, legal updates, and strategic risk mitigation.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Experience: Progressive HSE experience, with a proven track record of managing multi-site HSE frameworks in a fast-paced retail, luxury, or high-standard service environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep practical expertise and implementation experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, as well as Italian safety legislation (D.Lgs. 81/08). ISO Lead Auditor certification is a strong plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Safety, Industrial), Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Certifications: ASPP certification (Addetto al Servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione — Moduli A, B) is required; RSPP qualification (Modulo C) or readiness to assume RSPP duties is highly advantageous.
Language Skills:
- Native Italian (written and spoken).
- Fluent English (written and spoken) for corporate alignment and reporting.
- Proficiency in French is a significant advantage.
Personal Competencies:
- Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable initiatives and think several steps ahead.
- Senior Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to engage business leaders, boutique managers, and external authorities.
- Autonomy & Resilience: Highly self-motivated, able to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and drive results across multiple Maisons independently.
- Culture Builder: Passionate about safety, sustainability, and building collaborative relationships across diverse teams.
