Job Description

Who Are CPP?

CPP is a leading high-voltage infrastructure provider, connecting renewable energy projects to Australia’s electricity grid.

As a member of Quanta Services, a Fortune 500 company ranked #192 on the NYSX, we specialise in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems.

Established in 1996, we’ve connected more wind farms and renewable batteries than any other company. With over 800 employees and offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth, we partner with Australia’s major transmission providers to deliver innovative, end-to-end solutions.

Join us in shaping the future of energy.

Health, Safety & Environment

At CPP, we do safety differently. Aligned with Quanta’s Capacity Model™, we recognise that even with the best prevention, failure can still occur. Our focus is on building the capacity to fail safely and protect our people from life-threatening, life-altering, or life-ending incidents.

We embed safety, quality, and environmental responsibility into everything we do. Our tailored environmental management plans help minimise risks and disturbances while ensuring compliance with client requirements.

Through innovation and continuous learning, we create a resilient workplace where projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget – because safety isn’t just a priority, it’s how we work.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced HSE Systems Lead to take ownership of CPP’s corporate HSE management systems, processes and documentation. You will act as the system owner and software champion across HSE platforms, driving process improvements and greater consistency across project documentation, data management, assurance and reporting.

Working closely with the broader HSE team and project stakeholders, you will strengthen data governance, manage corrective actions and support operational and executive reporting. This is an opportunity to genuinely shape and improve how HSE systems and processes operate across CPP, with the autonomy to take initiatives from concept through to completion.

About You

Desired Skills and Experience

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess

  • Demonstrated experience in HSE systems, process improvement and systems administration within a project, operational or safety-related environment
  • Advanced computer and software skills, with the ability to confidently learn, administer and champion HSE management platforms
  • Strong capability across data management, governance, document control and management reporting
  • Working knowledge of health and safety systems and how HSE integrates across the project lifecycle
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience preparing professional documentation, procedures and reports
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work independently, influence stakeholders and take tasks through to completion
  • Desirable: Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, experience with Ideagen or similar HSE software, SharePoint familiarity, and/or experience within construction, infrastructure, utilities or engineering.

Be rewarded at CPP.

At CPP, we value our people above all else. We’re dedicated to investing in and developing your talent to help you reach your full potential. By joining us, you’ll have the opportunity to work on industry-leading projects and access the latest technologies. We foster a culture of innovation and welcome fresh ideas – if you're ready to challenge the status quo, we want you to be part of our team.

Benefits Include

  • Above-market salary package with annual reviews
  • Annual bonus, discretionary based on individual and business performance
  • We offer flexible working options, with the ability to work from home
  • Access to study assistance for continuous development, and a strong focus on internal promotions to help you grow within
  • 16 weeks paid primary parental leave and 6 weeks paid secondary parental leave
  • Up to 2 weeks of purchased leave
  • We actively invest in AI capability, providing access to premium AI subscriptions to help you work smarter, solve complex problems and deliver better outcomes
  • Choice between an iPhone or Samsung mobile
  • Generous employee referral program up to $4,000
  • Access to an extensive benefits and discounts program with savings at over 400 retailers
  • Free Employee Assistance Program for you and your family, supporting physical, mental, and financial wellbeing
