HR Associate - RISE

RISE (riseglobaleducation.com) pairs ambitious students with mentors from Ivy League, Oxford, and Cambridge institutions to help them build standout research profiles and university applications.

The Opportunity

We're building out RISE's people function and want someone to help run it well — whether you're just starting out or already have some HR experience. You'll work closely with the founders and get real ownership over hiring, onboarding, and day-to-day people support as the team grows.

Location: Remote | Type: Full-time | Compensation: Competitive

What you'll work on

• Support hiring across mentors, academic staff, and internal roles - from sourcing to onboarding
• Help run performance check-ins and feedback cycles
• Assist with contracts, leave tracking, and compliance across India and international team members
• Be a point of contact for team members on day-to-day people matters

What we're looking for

• Strong organizational skills and comfort with structured processes
• Excellent written communication and good judgment with sensitive information
• Eagerness to learn if new to HR, or ability to bring structure if you've done this before
