Position Overview

We’re on the hunt for a sharp, experienced Human Resource Manager to join our remote team. You’ll play a vital role in managing end-to-end HR functions, ensuring smooth payroll operations, and staying ahead of HR compliance standards. If you’ve got hands-on experience with ADP systems, a talent for staying organized under pressure, and a proactive mindset, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute accurate payroll processing and HRIS oversight, especially with ADP

• Own the entire employee lifecycle: onboarding, documentation, and offboarding

• Protect sensitive employee data with strict confidentiality

• Maintain compliance with U.S. employment laws (California labor law knowledge is a big plus)

• Respond promptly and professionally to HR-related concerns

• Stay self-motivated and work independently with minimal supervision

• Balance multiple HR/payroll tasks with precision and consistency

• Maintain reliable internet and availability during agreed hours

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR and payroll, covering full-cycle HR functions

• Required: Direct experience using ADP for payroll and/or HRIS

• Preferred: Familiarity with California labor laws and compliance standards

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear internal collaboration

• Proficiency in Gmail or similar platforms; experience with other HRIS tools is a bonus

• Reliable internet connection and remote setup

• Willingness to work U.S. business hours and occasional weekends
