About MoreApp
MoreApp is an international SaaS company that helps organisations, primarily in the installation and construction sectors, digitalise forms, inspections and operational processes. Our intuitive software makes complex work simpler, more efficient and more sustainable.
Our team consists of approximately 40 colleagues working across the Netherlands, Spain, France and Germany. As MoreApp continues to grow and evolve, we are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to take ownership of our complete people agenda.
About the role
As HR Business Partner, you will be the central point of contact for all HR and people related matters within MoreApp. This is a broad, independent and hands on role in which you combine strategic thinking with practical execution.
You will work closely with our CEO, leadership team, managers and employees across four countries. You will not only advise the organisation. You will create structure, make well founded recommendations and ensure that decisions, policies and processes are implemented effectively.
This is an individual contributor HR role with considerable autonomy and responsibility. You must therefore be comfortable working independently, handling sensitive situations and taking ownership of the complete HR lifecycle.
Your responsibilities
• Advise the CEO, leadership team and managers on organisational development, team structure, performance, talent and other people related matters.
• Support and challenge managers in areas such as leadership, feedback, development, wellbeing, conflict and employee relations.
• Lead MoreApp’s performance and development cycles, including goal setting, reviews, follow up and continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve HR policies and processes.
• Ensure that HR administration, employment agreements, compensation changes, employee data and personnel files are accurate and properly organised.
• Coordinate external HR, payroll and legal partners and involve specialists when necessary.
• Support HR activities across the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and France while accounting for local legislation and cultural differences.
• Manage recruitment processes from job description and candidate selection through interviews, offers and onboarding.
• Create a consistent and welcoming onboarding experience for new colleagues.
• Identify learning and development needs and coordinate appropriate initiatives.
• Monitor HR data such as employee turnover, absence, engagement and team growth. Translate these insights into practical actions.
• Collaborate with Marketing on employer branding and internal communication.
• Help strengthen MoreApp’s culture while creating clarity, consistency and scalable HR foundations.
What you bring
• Several years of relevant experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager or in a similarly broad HR role.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree, or demonstrable HBO or WO working and thinking level.
• Experience taking ownership of HR processes from creation through implementation and ongoing execution.
• The confidence and professional maturity to advise and challenge senior leaders and managers.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law and the judgement to involve external specialists when required.
• Experience with performance management, employee relations, organisational development and HR operations.
• A structured and analytical approach, with the ability to translate complex matters and HR data into clear decisions and actions.
• A pragmatic and hands on mindset suited to a growing organisation.
• Experience in an international organisation. Experience with HR matters in Germany, Spain or France is a strong advantage.
• Experience in a SaaS, technology, startup or growing company is an advantage.
• Fluent spoken and written Dutch and English.
Fluent Dutch is a firm requirement for this position. You will advise managers and employees, conduct sensitive conversations and work with Dutch employment matters.
What we offer
• A broad HR role with substantial autonomy, responsibility and direct organisational impact.
• The opportunity to shape and professionalise HR within a growing international SaaS company.
• A gross monthly salary between €4,800 and €5,400.
• A flexible position between 32 and 40 hours per week.
• Hybrid working, combining remote work with regular presence at our office next to Rotterdam Central Station.
• 29 vacation days, pension and holiday allowance.
• Internet and telephone allowance.
• An NS Business Card or lease car by agreement.
• A high end MacBook.
• A personal learning budget and room for professional development.
• Short communication lines and close collaboration with the leadership team.
