Being an HR Business Partner is an ideal position for someone who enjoys helping people and businesses do their best work together! You will be the guardian of good vibes, the maestro of mirth, and the sultan of smiles including staying up do date on office related memes and workplace puns. You will be the trusted translator of policies, the calm in the middle of a complicated employee situation, and the person managers call when they need practical people guidance. If you can balance empathy, good judgment, and humor let’s talk more!
Who We Are
At Vertech, not only do we develop world class industrial automation solutions for some of the top US companies, we also strive to be the team of choice for the best and brightest talent. I mean, we call ourselves control freaks for a reason. The passion (and intelligence) our employees have is truly mind-blowing. In turn, we work hard to take care of our own with excellent benefits and pay, personal development, and transparent communication. We also know that you can be great at what you do and still have fun. If that sounds like a good fit, help us bring the next generation of automation solutions to nearly every industry, including manufacturing, food and beverage, renewable energy, water and wastewater, data centers and more.

  • A path for growth, a great culture, PTO, AND MORE!
What You Will Be Doing
  • Serve as the go-to HR partner for a handful of Vertech business units, helping employees and managers navigate the employee experience.
  • Support the full HR menu, including compensation, benefits, performance management, training, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, labor relations, and compliance.
  • Coach managers through performance conversations, employee concerns, documentation, and the occasional situation that starts with, ‘So, this is probably a weird question…’
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes so people know what to expect and feel supported from hello to goodbye.
  • Partner with leaders to understand business needs, spot people trends, and turn HR programs into practical actions.
  • Develop specialized expertise in several HR categories and become the person the broader People and Culture team calls when that topic needs a deeper dive.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, support HR metrics, and help keep our policies, processes, and compliance practices in good working order.

  • Excellent judgment, discretion, communication, organization, and diplomacy.
  • A genuine interest in people, business, and making complicated things feel a little less complicated.
