With a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial culture, the organisation encourages curiosity, continuous learning, adaptability, and commercial thinking. Employees are empowered to challenge ideas, solve complex problems, and contribute to meaningful organisational outcomes in a dynamic and evolving environment.

About the Role:

This is a significant HR Business Partner leadership opportunity supporting a large global technical workforce during a major organisational transformation. Partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering people strategies that support organisational growth, workforce capability, mobility, and operational excellence.

Supporting an innovative tech-focused BU across highly specialised functions, you will work closely as a true HR BP across the employee life cycle and all people matters directly with leaders, as well as driving HR programs and projects such as workforce planning, organisational design, change management initiatives, leadership effectiveness, talent priorities, and employee engagement outcomes.

The role combines strategic partnering with hands-on execution and will see you:

  • Lead workforce planning and organisational design initiatives aligned to evolving business priorities.
  • Provide trusted advisory support and coaching to executive and senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Partner on large-scale organisational change, restructuring, and transformation programs.
  • Support leadership capability development, succession planning, and talent strategies.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, performance management, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Utilise workforce analytics and people data to inform decision-making and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate across centres of excellence including talent acquisition, learning and development, remuneration, talent management, and people operations.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of a globally aligned People and Culture operating model.

About You:

You are an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner who thrives in complex, fast-moving, and evolving environments. You have a demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, navigate ambiguity, and deliver practical people solutions that support business performance. You will bring:

  • Extensive experience in senior HR Business Partnering roles within large, complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Strong capability across organisational design, workforce planning, and organisational change.
  • Proven experience partnering with executive and senior leadership teams.
  • Well-developed employee relations expertise including investigations, performance management, and compliance matters.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate people strategy into measurable organisational outcomes.
  • Experience using people data and workforce insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, communication, and influencing skills.
  • A collaborative approach and the resilience to operate effectively within transformational environments.
  • Exposure to technical, engineering, digital, consulting, professional services, retail, FMCG, or other complex commercial environments will be highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline are preferred.

Additional Requirements/Benefits:

  • Hybrid working arrangement with 3 days in the Sydney CBD offices.
  • Flexible working culture with autonomy to manage stakeholder commitments.
  • Exposure to senior executives and globally based leadership teams.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a significant organisational redesign and capability transformation program.
  • Collaborative and high-performing People and Culture team environment.
  • Contemporary workplace focused on innovation, technology adoption, and future ways of working.
  • Immediate start available with a streamlined interview process; however, those candidates with notice periods are welcome to apply.
  • Initial contract with a genuine opportunity to become permanent.

Why Apply?

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected global organisation at a pivotal point in its transformation journey. You will have the ability to influence senior leaders, shape workforce strategy, and play a meaningful role in building the future capability of a large technical workforce. If you enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and are energised by complexity, scale, and change, this opportunity offers significant visibility, impact, and professional growth.
