The Human Resources Coordinator will primarily focus on the hiring and onboarding of qualified candidates to support Isaiah House’s workforce needs. The role also assists with employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and HR recordkeeping as needed. Key Job Responsibilities: Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and applicant communication. Support new-hire onboarding, including paperwork, background checks, orientation, and HRIS entry. Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files, recruiting records, and employee information. Assist with employee questions, benefits administration, compliance activities, and other HR functions as needed. Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director and help ensure a positive candidate and employee experience. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience); HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred. 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role. Proven proficiency with HRIS platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ADP experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of handling sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with demonstrated success managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
