We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator. This is a full-time opportunity in Santiago or Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (Remote).

The HR Coordinator will support day-to-day HR operations, employee communications, onboarding and offboarding, HR documentation, benefits administration, recordkeeping, and other people-related processes. This role requires excellent organization, discretion, follow-through, and the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders across the United States while working remotely from the Dominican Republic.

Qualifications:

• 6 months+ experience in Human Resources, HR administration, recruiting coordination, or a related role.
• Preferred coursework or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience supporting employees or teams in the United States is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, applicant tracking, or other HR technology preferred.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
• Must work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours.

Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Administration:

• Coordinate day-to-day HR administrative activities for U.S.-based employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
• Prepare HR-related documents, reports, correspondence, and employee communications.
• Assist with tracking employee changes, including promotions, transfers, leaves, and terminations.
• Support HR systems and ensure employee information is accurately maintained.
• Maintain organized and confidential electronic personnel files.

Employee Support:

• Serve as a first point of contact for routine HR questions and requests from employees.
• Respond to employee inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
• Escalate complex, sensitive, or policy-related matters to the appropriate HR leader.
• Help employees navigate HR processes, policies, benefits, and company resources.
• Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives.

Onboarding & Offboarding:

• Coordinate onboarding activities for new U.S.-based employees.
• Ensure new hire documentation and required forms are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure new employees have the appropriate systems, access, and resources.
• Assist with offboarding and termination processes, including documentation and coordination of required steps.
• Maintain onboarding and offboarding checklists and ensure timely completion.
