Maine Family Planning is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for 30 hours a week. This position is based out of the Augusta office with flexibility for hybrid remote work. This is a new position due to organizational growth.
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment. This role partners with directors/ managers to attract, recruit, onboard, and retain qualified employees while ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies. This position will also assist employees with leave requests administered by a third party and other key human resources functions as needed. Occasional travel required.
Qualifications Needed for Position:
Experience and Skill Requirements: The following experience and skills are considered essential:
- 2-3 years of human resources experience
- HRIS skills
- Ability to organize work and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated strong oral, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality
Education and Knowledge Requirements: The following education requirements are considered essential:
- Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
