Job Title: Human Resources Operations Coordinator
Location: New York, NY (Flatiron HQ) – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

About The Job

TileBar is a leading design resource dedicated to transforming spaces. Through tailored, expert solutions that exceed the expectations of residential and trade clients alike, TileBar provides the most inspiring tile and stone shopping experience in the industry. Through a curated product assortment, technical innovation, personalized service, and an elevated omnichannel experience, TileBar ensures that every project accomplishes a unique vision and aesthetic. We are seeking dedicated professionals who share our passion for design, innovation, and exceptional service.

TileBar is seeking an HR Operations Coordinator to support the systems, processes, and data that keep our HR operations running smoothly. This person will be a resource for employees and managers, help maintain accurate information in Dayforce, and turn HR data into useful reporting for leaders and partners across the business. The person in this role will report to the Total Rewards and Analytics Manager and support other areas of the department as needed, including Learning and Development and Recruiting.

The right candidate enjoys getting the details right. They are comfortable managing a queue of employee questions, spotting an inconsistency in a report, and finding a better way to run a recurring process. They work independently, follow through, and know when an issue needs to be escalated. This hybrid role requires working onsite at the Flatiron HQ at least three days per week, with the capacity to work remotely for the remainder of the week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Employee Support and HR Operations

• Respond to employee and manager questions about HR processes, policies, benefits, and systems, using our ticketing platform to document requests, track progress, and ensure timely follow-up.

• Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, job and organizational changes, and offboarding.

• Maintain accurate employee records and handle sensitive information with care and discretion.

• Identify recurring questions or process gaps and help create clearer resources and more efficient workflows.

HR Systems Reporting and Analytics

• Serve as a key resource for Dayforce, helping users navigate the system, troubleshoot issues, and maintain data quality.

• Prepare and validate recurring and ad hoc HR reports for internal leaders and external partners, with a particular focus on requests from Finance.

• Use Excel to organize, reconcile, and analyze data; investigate discrepancies and explain findings in a clear, practical way.

Benefits and Compensation Support

• Assist with annual open enrollment, employee communications, enrollment questions, and coordination with our benefits broker and vendors.

• Review and reconcile benefits invoices, research discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions with vendors and internal partners.

• Support the annual compensation planning cycle through data preparation, system administration, reporting, and follow-up with leaders.

• Help HR leadership research market data and maintain compensation structures, job information, and pay bands.

• Partner with HR and Finance to ensure headcount, organizational, benefits, and compensation data are accurate and aligned.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

• 2+ years of experience in HR operations, HR coordination, or a related role.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requests without losing track of follow-up.

• Confidence working with HR systems and data; experience with Dayforce is strongly preferred.

• Strong Excel skills and an interest in using data to answer questions and solve problems.

• A proactive, process-minded approach: you notice when something is unclear or inefficient and take steps to improve it.

• The judgment to work autonomously, protect confidential information, and escalate sensitive or complex matters appropriately.

• Clear, helpful communication with employees, leaders, Finance, and external partners.
