About the Role

The HR Coordinator performs various administrative tasks in support of the human resources department. Assists in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documents. They answer basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings. Processes employee status changes or benefits enrollments and maintains records of completed transactions. Inputs HR-related data and compile standard reports for management review.


This is a full-time and fully remote position and open to candidates based in the Philippines only.


Duties and Responsibilities

Employee Onboarding

  • Complete all data entry related to employee hiring into HRIS in a timely manner.
  • Set up and troubleshoot issues with employee profiles in Nectar
  • Schedule and coordinate all aspects of new hire onboarding, including orientations and training setup.
  • Serve as a resource for new hires on company policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the onboarding process
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new hires, staff, and leadership, providing guidance and support as needed.


General HR

  • Maintain accurate employee personnel records and HRIS data
  • Administer and process all employment forms, including but not limited to the Employee Status Change Form and Exiting Employee Form.
  • Monitor, review, and respond to HR Tickets.
  • Assist with and complete verifications of employment, unemployment claims, and workers' comp claims
  • Coordinate job descriptions, ensuring alignment with FLSA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, and other relevant employment laws; routinely audit job descriptions for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure labor law postings are kept up to date and meet regulatory requirements for all locations, including virtual postings for relevant remote employees
  • Coordinate performance review cycles, ensuring timely completion and following up as needed
  • Assist in the coordination of leave of absence and the accommodation processes
  • Stay up-to-date on all changes to company policy and procedure and ensure that new hires are adequately informed


Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in an HR data entry or related position.
  • Possesses knowledge of the subject matter, such as HR laws and regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and EEOC.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with employees and management.
  • Perform work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Experience with HRIS software and other HR-related technology.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment.


Equipment Requirements:

  • Computer: at least 8th Gen Intel CPUs or AMD Ryzen 2000 series equivalent or above.
  • Computer Operating System: Windows 11 ONLY (No Mac Devices).
  • Computer Memory/RAM: at least 16.00 GB.
  • At least 100 Mbps internet connection.
  • Webcam (at least 1080p) or Laptop Camera capable of the same resolution.
  • Dual monitor.
  • Backup internet connection and power source.
