Shift: Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexible hours may be required to support operational needs. Position includes the potential for as-needed call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on organizational requirements and staffing needs.

Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position with a combination of on-site and remote work. When on-site presence is required, the primary work location will be Falling Leaf.

· Base Pay Range: $23.66 - $37.37 per hour, based on experience

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

· Conducts prompt and objective investigations into employee allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and violations of employment policy or law. Investigates complaints received through the compliance and ethics hotline involving HR practices, leadership conduct, or workplace environment concerns. Interviews complainants, respondents, and witnesses to gather relevant facts. Collects and analyzes documentation, communications, and personnel records to support findings.

· Prepares clear, concise, and well-documented investigative summaries and final reports. Maintains accurate, secure, and confidential records of all investigative activities. Organizes and facilitates meetings with HR leadership and stakeholders to review investigative findings and provide guidance on potential corrective action options consistent with organizational policies and practices. Ensures consistent application of policies and procedures in all processes.

· Communicates investigation outcomes to involved parties in a timely and professional manner providing, guidance on resolution processes, policy interpretation, or corrective measures as appropriate. Develops and delivers training for leaders on employee relations practices, workplace conduct expectations, and HR policies. May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.

.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired.

· Three (3) years of experience conducting workplace or similar investigations, preferably in a healthcare, academic, or similarly complex organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s degree or Juris Doctor (JD).

· Experience conducting investigations in a healthcare or academic setting.

· Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
