Role Description: The Human Resources Lecturer will be responsible for designing and delivering HR-related courses to postgraduate learners, with a focus on contemporary HR practices, strategic HR management, and organizational development. Day-to-day tasks include preparing teaching materials, conducting live or recorded remote lectures, leading discussions, assessing student work, and providing constructive feedback. The lecturer will also support curriculum development, align course content with international academic standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of HR course offerings. Collaboration with academic leadership and colleagues to enhance student engagement, integrate case studies, and incorporate real-world HR scenarios is expected. This is a part-time, remote role that offers flexibility while maintaining consistent availability for scheduled teaching sessions and student support.

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Human Resources domains such as strategic HR management, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Experience in curriculum design, instructional planning, and assessment methods for adult and postgraduate learners.
  • Proficiency with online teaching platforms, digital learning tools, and remote classroom engagement techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to explain complex HR concepts clearly.
  • Doctorate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field;
  • Relevant professional HR experience (e.g., HR generalist, HR business partner, HR consultant) and familiarity with global HR trends and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet academic deadlines.
  • Experience teaching in international or multicultural contexts and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Human Resources Services experience

• Doctor of Philosophy

• 1+ years of work experience with Adult Education
