Hydraulic Designer We are recruiting a Hydraulic Designer - Hydrotechnical & Hydraulic Engineer, Infrastructure Design , on behalf of our client , an international consulting and engineering group active in Romania for almost 30 years, with services in road and rail transport infrastructure, water and environment, energy, urban development, and institutional advisory. Globally, the company creates and operates intelligent infrastructure and buildings that support the transition to a low-carbon economy and sustainable territorial development. This role puts hydraulic calculations, drainage, and hydrotechnical works at the centre of road and railway projects, including the approval process. You’ll elaborate the design documentation for hydrotechnical works and the hydraulic calculations for structures and drainage devices, prepare and follow up the documents for approvals and agreements, and represent the company in the approval meetings for specialized works. You will be part of multidisciplinary design teams (roads, bridges and structures, railways, hydrotechnical works), working to international design and contract management standards, including FIDIC. Main Responsibilities Elaborate design documentation for the Technical Project for hydrotechnical works, hydraulic calculations for structures (culverts, bridges and viaducts), and rainwater drainage devices for roads and railways Prepare, verify, and approve documents for obtaining approvals and agreements (water, sewerage, electricity, environment) Participate in the preparation of written and drawn project parts and bills of quantities Represent the company in the approval meetings for specialized works Be familiar with the execution technologies and the way operations are carried out in the execution processes Establish relations with colleagues and/or subcontractors to solve, in due time and good conditions, all problems arising during the activity Be directly responsible for fulfilling the duties and tasks set by the team leaders Requirements Higher education in construction At least 5 years of experience in Romania in hydraulic and hydrotechnical design deliverables Excellent computer skills in MS Office, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Civil 3D, and dedicated hydraulic design software Good spoken and written English Flexibility and adaptability; communication, analysis and synthesis, decision-making capacity Ability to work under stress and extended schedules; responsibility and confidentiality Department Engineering Role Design Engineer Locations Bucharest Remote status Hybrid Employment type Full-time About Evolve Today This text can be a short description about your company.
