What you will be doing

• Build and evolve reusable infrastructure components to simplify cloud provisioning across Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments.
• Develop self-service solutions that enable engineering teams to deploy infrastructure efficiently and consistently.
• Establish best practices for infrastructure automation, including code validation, testing, and continuous delivery.
• Integrate security and compliance controls into infrastructure workflows to reduce deployment risks.
• Automate infrastructure changes throughout its lifecycle, from initial deployment to maintenance and retirement.
• Strengthen cloud resilience through high availability and disaster recovery solutions, while optimizing performance and costs.
• Drive the adoption of IaC standards across teams, review technical implementations, and support the development of other engineers.
• Explore approved AI-assisted workflows to improve automation, ensuring generated solutions meet security and reliability standards.

What you will need to succeed

• Strong experience with Terraform or Crossplane, and hands-on knowledge of both Microsoft Azure and GCP.
• Experience building reusable infrastructure modules and implementing GitOps and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of infrastructure testing, Policy as Code, security scanning, secrets management, networking, and access control (IAM/RBAC).
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring, compliance automation, disaster recovery, high availability, and FinOps.
• Ability to establish technical standards, troubleshoot complex issues, and promote reliable infrastructure practices.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to guide technical teams and influence stakeholders.
