Summary Reporting to the IBM i Development Director, the Senior IBM i Programmer Analyst will ensure production follow-ups, analysis and resolution of production incidents and actively participate in the development of improvements and projects. Main responsibilities: Participate in the evolution and maintenance of existing systems; Plan and carry out activities related to the realization of projects; Produce development project artifacts; Produce evaluations of analysis and development efforts; Write and update functional and technical specifications; Write unit and integrated test specifications; Develop and implement enhancements and projects; Ensure effective user support; Support and advise less experienced developers; Apply best practices in software development; Be available for remote support outside of normal working hours on a rotating basis with other team members; Write and update documentation related to ISO standards; Inform the project manager about potential risks; Profile required DEC or Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer systems, information or a related field; Minimum of 10 years of hands-on programming experience on IBM iSeries, AS400, RPG IV, RPGLE, RPG/II, CLP, SQL, Database : DB2 for i; Experience with XML, HTML and JavaScript would be beneficial; Strong problem solving and analytical skills; Leadership and negotiation skills; Ability to communicate effectively at all hierarchical levels ; Ability to make complex information accessible; Responsible and autonomous in carrying out mandates; Ability to work in both French and English (spoken and written). The job requires proficiency in English at a professional level.
