One of our clients, a leader in the Telecommunications sector, is looking for an IBM Power Systems / AIX Administrator to join their team. You will be responsible for designing, optimizing, securing, and supporting enterprise IBM Power environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and virtualization efficiency across mission-critical systems. Key Deliverables Design, administer, and optimize IBM Power Systems environments. Design and implement PowerVM virtualization architectures. Configure and manage: Micro-partitioning (LPARs) Virtual I/O Server (VIOS) Active Memory Expansion (AME) Shared Processor Pools NPIV (N_Port ID Virtualization) Perform AIX performance tuning and capacity planning. Monitor and analyze system performance using tools such as: nmon nmon Analyzer lparstat lpar2rrd Equivalent performance monitoring tools Deploy and manage IBM PowerSC security solutions and hardening initiatives. Support infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and deployment projects. Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to internal engineering teams Requirements Ideal Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience administering IBM Power Systems and AIX environments. Strong hands-on experience with: IBM Power Systems AIX Administration PowerVM VIOS NPIV Performance Tuning Capacity Planning Experience deploying and managing IBM PowerSC. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Fluent in French. Excellent communication skills and ability to work within distributed engineering teams.
