We are seeking full-time, experienced ICC Certified Plans Examiner within California, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Nevada.
Responsibilities
Review plans, calculations and specifications for compliance with the most current adopted ordinances, laws, and state building codes.
Preparation of plans review comment letter according to municipality direction and SCA standards.
Meet and confer with the clients as-needed (via phone, email, virtual meeting or in-person) to clarify plan check comments.

Minimum Qualifications
ICC Certified Plans Examiner with complete knowledge and full understanding of the International model building codes and standard construction methods.
2+ years of experience working for a jurisdiction providing plan check reviews for both commercial & residential
Skilled with complete life safety review (B. P. M. & E.).
Computer knowledge and basic word processing experience
Must have a high school diploma; some college is highly desirable.
Must have a valid Driver License.
Must successfully complete standard background investigation.
