We are one of the few companies globally that can provide governments and customers with an integrated energy offering. Delivering our strategy sustainably is fundamental to achieving our ambition to be a net zero company by 2050 or sooner.

It's an exciting time to join bp. Meeting the energy challenge requires many different approaches and solutions. So if you want to be part of a caring, supportive environment where you can realize your full potential, we’re with you.

Join our Technology Team and advance your career as an Identity & Access Management (IAM) DevOps Lead

  • Lead IAM DevOps and Agile delivery, including Scrum ceremonies, backlog prioritization, roadmaps, upgrades and dependency management.
  • Identify and deliver AI-enabled solutions, workflow automation and process optimization to improve IAM operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Provide technical leadership across the IAM DevOps team, coordinating internal and vendor delivery teams and supporting engineering excellence.
  • Manage competing operational, audit and business priorities, ensuring effective resource and delivery planning.
  • Partner with senior Technology, Security, Compliance and Business partners, providing clear metrics, reporting and technical recommendations.

What You will need to be successful:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a numerate rigor, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong experience across Identity & Access Management (IAM) operations, governance and access controls, ideally within a regulated environment
  • Hands-on experience with User Access Reviews (UAR), recertification and access governance, including supporting internal and external audits
  • Experience leading or coordinating technical delivery teams within Agile and DevOps environments
  • Strong participant and vendor management skills, with confidence working across technical, business and third-party teams
  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver against committed deadlines
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to translate technical topics clearly for different audiences

Desirable Criteria:

  • Development experience with Java, Oracle and SQL, plus exposure to ServiceNow integrations
  • Experience with workflow automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational processes
  • Scrum Master certification or hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
