IDoc Data Transmission Developer

Our client is looking for an experienced SAP Developer to support the development of a Turnaround Material Preparation and Management Tool.

The main objective of the project is to develop a solution that supports the preparation and management of materials required for plant turnaround activities, with a particular focus on SAP data integration and IDoc-based data transmission.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SAP outbound interfaces based on IDoc technology.
• Design and implement IDoc-based data transmission for Functional Locations (FLoc) and relevant SAP PM documents.
• Analyse existing SAP data structures and determine the appropriate data required by the Turnaround Material Preparation Tool.
• Develop, enhance and troubleshoot IDoc interfaces, including relevant segments, message types and partner/profile configuration where applicable.
• Work with SAP MM and PM processes to understand the business context and data requirements behind the interfaces.
• Support the integration of SAP with the external Turnaround Material Management solution.
• Perform technical analysis, testing and troubleshooting of interface-related issues.
• Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure the interfaces meet the project's business needs.
• Contribute to technical documentation and provide support during testing and implementation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with SAP IDoc development and integration.
• Practical knowledge of SAP MM and/or SAP PM, with a good understanding of the underlying business processes and data structures.
• Experience developing or maintaining outbound interfaces is highly desirable.
• Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• English and Hungarian at a professional working level.

Conditions:

• Part-time engagement: approximately 20% capacity.
• Hybrid/remote working model.
• Occasional on-site presence required at an easily accessible location in Budapest.
• Freelancer/contractor status preferred.
