A rare opportunity for an experienced Canadian immigration lawyer to join an established firm in a fully remote role, with genuine scope to influence how the practice develops.

The firm is growing and modernising its approach to legal services, including significant investment in AI and technology. It is looking for a senior lawyer who combines strong technical immigration expertise with the judgement, curiosity and ambition to help shape that next phase.

The sweet spot is 5–10 years’ Canadian immigration experience. Someone capable of running sophisticated matters independently, advising clients confidently and taking some responsibility for developing more junior lawyers.

The practice is broad, covering economic immigration, work permits, family sponsorship, inadmissibility and citizenship. Criminal inadmissibility experience is particularly attractive, although not essential.

The right person will also be genuinely interested in how AI can improve legal work, rather than simply using the same processes lawyers have used for the past 20 years.

The essentials:

• Licensed to practise law in Canada

• Strong Canadian immigration experience

• Canadian immigration law firm background

• Strong client and matter-management experience

• Some leadership, mentoring or supervisory experience

• Genuine interest in AI and legal technology

CA$140,000–CA$180,000 + fully remote within Canada.

Eastern Time working hours. Candidates must already be authorised to work in Canada without sponsorship.
