Immigration Solicitor

We are working with an international law firm based in Belfast for an Associate to join their Immigration team. Salary: £40,000.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an established Immigration team, advising corporate and individual clients on a broad range of immigration matters, including business immigration, sponsorship licences, work visas, family migration, residency and nationality applications.

The role will involve advising businesses on sponsor licence applications, compliance obligations and skilled worker immigration, alongside assisting individuals with spouse and partner visas, indefinite leave to remain, citizenship and other immigration applications. The successful candidate will also advise on asylum, human rights and private life matters, prepare applications and supporting documentation, manage appeals where required and maintain strong client relationships.

Essential Criteria:

• Qualified solicitor. NQ+;
• Immigration law background desirable;
• Excellent academics;
• Interpersonal skills;
• Strong drafting abilities;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
