Immigration Specialist Wilmington, DE Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Hybrid As an Immigration Specialist in the Global Mobility & Immigration team, you will be responsible for immigration processes for employees across the U.S. and globally. The Global Mobility & Immigration team sits within our People and Culture department and handles the administration and coordination of immigration activities; partnering directly with our business leaders and employees as well as Talent Acquisition, business partners, immigration counsel and external vendors to deliver a compliant and positive experience for all stakeholders. Job responsibilities include end-to-end management of immigration cases, maintaining accurate employee and case records, monitoring key immigration milestones and deadlines, supporting audits and compliance activities, and contributing to ongoing enhancements to our global mobility and immigration processes. Some of the things you’ll be doing: Coordinate U.S. and global immigration processes for new hires, current employees and international transfers, ensuring cases progress in alignment with business and employee needs. Partner with employees, talent acquisition, and business partners to gather required information and documentation and ensure cases are complete and progressing timely. Gather and confirm completeness and accuracy of immigration documentation and employee information in support of compliant case processing. Monitor immigration case status, key dates, expiration dates and other milestones, escalating issues and potential compliance concerns as needed. Maintain accurate immigration records and update internal systems and databases throughout the immigration lifecycle. Partner with immigration counsel and vendors as needed to initiate, coordinate and track immigration cases. Support immigration compliance activities, including audits, reporting and maintenance of required documentation and records. Compile and analyze immigration data for scorecards, reporting and other analysis. Provide timely and service-oriented communication to employees and business partners regarding immigration processes, requirements and next steps. Contribute to the success of the team by contributing ideas and participating in ongoing enhancements to service delivery and immigration processes. Assist with ad-hoc global mobility and immigration projects. What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need? Previous experience in U.S. or global immigration, global mobility, human resources operations, onboarding, or a related field. Experience working with confidential employee information and maintaining accurate records in a compliance-focused environment. Highly organized and diligent, attention to detail and willingness to follow through to completeness. Strong problem-solver when the path forward may not be clear. Able to prioritize work in alignment with client and business needs. Sensitive to working with confidential and personal information. A self-starter who thrives in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, business partners, vendors and external counsel.
