Implementation Consultant/ Project Manager - Tech Consulting - Regional Insurance Project
Location: Remote, with occasional onsite meetings in Kuala Lumpur
Contract Term: 2 years (with contract completion bonus)
Client: Well‑known multinational insurance firm
Project: Regional sales/agent incentive system implementation across SEA
About the Role:
One of our clients, a Hong Kong headquartered technology consultancy is recruiting an Implementation Consutlant/Project Manager to join their team to support a large‑scale technology transformation for a well-known insurance firm.
This role is ideal for candidates with 2–3 years of IT project experience who want to gain exposure to enterprise‑level consulting, insurance technology, and regional project delivery.
You do not need prior experience in specific system domain — they will provide full enablement, training, and mentorship. This is a rare opportunity to work on a multi‑market implementation, with Malaysia as one of the key delivery hubs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the key local contact point in project/solution delivery
- Coordinate requirements gathering, documentation, and alignment with business and technical stakeholders
- Assist in system configuration, testing cycles, defect tracking, and deployment activities
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams across multiple markets (including PH)
- Prepare project materials such as user stories, process flows, test scripts, and status reports
- Participate in workshops, training sessions, and enablement programs
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and timelines
- Provide ongoing support during UAT, go‑live, and stabilization phases
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in IT projects, technology consulting, systems implementation, or business analysis
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable working with technical teams, business users, and regional stakeholders
- Good documentation skills (requirements, process flows, test cases)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a structured project environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus, but not required
