Role Description
The Project Design Coordinator is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of interior design projects for educational and commercial spaces.
This role involves assisting in design development, preparing and updating drawings and specifications, and coordinating design details with internal teams and external partners.
The coordinator will manage project documentation, track schedules and milestones, and help ensure projects meet quality, budget, and sustainability objectives. Day-to-day tasks include liaising with clients and vendors, consolidating requirements, organizing meetings, and preparing presentations and reports. The role also supports continuous improvement of design processes and contributes creative input to optimize space utilization and user experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Coordination and Project Management skills to handle timelines, resources, and project documentation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, designers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess relevant Interior Design and Architecture skills to support design development, space planning, and technical drawings.
- Candidates should have proficiency in design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and MS Office or project management software.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Candidates should ideally hold a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience with commercial or educational interior projects and an interest in sustainable design practices will be beneficial.
