Role Overview

As an Implementation Specialist at RelyComply, you will be hands-on in building and configuring our compliance platform for enterprise clients. Working closely with Solution Architects and delivery pods, you will transform technical specifications into live, high-impact solutions that drive regulatory confidence and operational excellence for leading financial institutions. This is a unique opportunity to own real-world implementations, deepen your technical expertise, and directly contribute to combating financial crime.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and deploy RelyComply’s platform components—including screening, client risk assessment, transaction monitoring rules, case management, and regulatory reporting—according to detailed technical specifications.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL and Python scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and API integration to meet client requirements.
• Build and maintain API integrations (REST, SOAP) and data pipelines, ensuring seamless client data onboarding and system interoperability.
• Utilize configuration-as-code and templating tools to enable repeatable, auditable, and scalable deployments across client environments.
• Promote configurations cleanly across development, test, UAT, and production environments, ensuring zero critical deployment failures.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional delivery pod, working closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and client stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Identify and escalate specification gaps or technical risks early, ensuring all requirements are addressed prior to client sign-off.
• Contribute to ongoing process and platform improvements, sharing knowledge and best practices with the broader team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in SaaS implementation, technical configuration, or data integration—ideally in a regulated sector such as financial services.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL (development, optimization, troubleshooting) and Python (scripting, automation).
• Demonstrated experience building API integrations and data pipelines using modern tools and frameworks.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical specifications precisely in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Certification in AML, KYC, or related compliance domains (e.g., ACAMS, ICA).
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms or configuration-as-code methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of machine learning or natural language processing applications in compliance or financial crime detection.

What Success Looks Like

• Deliver 95% of configuration tasks on or ahead of schedule, maintaining a post-sign-off defect rate below 3%.
• Promote configurations across all required environments with zero critical deployment failures.
• Achieve at least 90% positive client feedback (8/10+ on delivery quality, communication, and technical expertise).
• Actively contribute to process or platform improvements and successfully onboard to productive delivery within 30 days.
