The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Implementation Technical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization and clients. You will also collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by managing critical projects and initiatives to ensure the success of Fluency and CDI product lines. Manage customer, project team and leadership relationships across multi-functional teams at Solventum to drive project completion and achieve desired outcomes.

· Provide technical support for all Solventum products for Revenue Cycle Management and Clinical Productivity Solutions

· Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and ensure successful deployment designs and implementation and deployment changes

· Collaborate with third party vendors to successfully support the integration of our products with other systems

· Contribute to and support the business unit to achieve goals and objectives of the HIS Division’s Business plan

· Participate with a diverse team of professionals in providing in depth cohesive technical service that ensure a stable product installation environment.

· Participate in cross functional and user acceptance testing

· Participate in cross team collaboration projects to ensure best practices.

· Understanding customer needs and ensuring client success through impactful presentations/guides/onsite meetings.

Your Skills and Expertise

  • Experience communicating at C Suite level down to front line customers.
  • Effective listening, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict with a problem-solving mindset and a customer-oriented approach
  • System operations, including but not limited to monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in front of a large audience.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Highly motivated and dedicated to the goals of the overall organization
  • Capable of maintaining effective and professional customer relationships both internal and external to Solventum in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical aptitude and ability to interpret data for customer reporting and customer presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team of professionals.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and communicate accurately and effectively with clients of various technical skill levels to ensure success.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently follow through on problems and issues, creating procedures and tools to prevent future problems.
  • The Fluency Technical Engineer attends kick-off meetings for new projects, stays involved with the Implementation process to ensure the success of the client and business and completes a support hand off once customer is fully deployed and stable.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university AND at least five (5) years of technical support or technical implementation experience.

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED AND a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology Support in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Five (5) years of experience with design, configuration and implementation of server based client deployment models.
  • Two (2) year of experience with implementation and troubleshooting of virtual desktop technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Development.
  • Experience with VMware ESX and Citrix technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Windows desktop and server version deployments.
  • Strong understanding of Mac desktop deployments.
  • Strong understanding of bulk deployment tool such as SCCM or Intune.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records such as Epic, Meditech, and Cerner.

Onboarding Requirement: To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation. As a result, new employees hired for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. Applies to new hires with a start date of October 1st 2025 or later.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $96,000 - $132,000, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
