In House Content Creator Intern

Wolff Properties · St. Louis, MO · Part-time internship · Hybrid

About Wolff Properties
Wolff Properties owns and manages four apartment communities across the St. Louis area, each with its own personality and its own neighbors who call it home. Across all four, our goal is the same: well-kept homes, responsive service, and a real sense of community. As our content creator, you'll help show what makes each one special.

About the role
We are looking for a creative In House Content Creator Intern to bring our apartment communities to life online. This is a from-scratch build: our four communities do not have an established social media presence yet, so you will help set up and launch accounts and content for all four properties, then keep them growing.

You will photograph, film, edit, and write the posts, Reels, and Stories that show prospects and residents what it is like to live at a Wolff Properties community. This is a hands-on creative role: you will see your work go live every week and build a portfolio of real multifamily content.

What you'll do
• Leasing content: Shoot and edit virtual tours, model-unit walkthroughs, floor plan spotlights, and "available now" posts
• Move-in specials and promotions: Create posts, Stories, and graphics for look-and-lease specials, referral bonuses, and limited-time offers
• Our amenities: Photograph and film the amenities at our communities, such as swimming pools, clubhouse houses, fitness centers, picnic areas, for posts and Reels
• Resident events: Create promo graphics for community events like pool parties, holiday gatherings, and food truck nights. You must attend resident events in person (some are evenings or weekends) to capture photos and video and post recaps
• Neighborhood guides: Make content highlighting nearby St. Louis restaurants, parks, coffee shops, and attractions
• Resident spotlights: Create welcome posts for new move-ins, pet-of-the-month features, and resident stories (with permission)
• Seasonal and trending content: Make holiday posts, moving-season tips, apartment decorating ideas, and short videos that use current trends and audio
• Captions and copy: Write captions and short copy for each post in the brand voice of each community

What we're looking for
• Must live in the St. Louis metro area. This is a hybrid role: you can edit and write from home, but you'll need to be on-site for shoots at our properties and present at all resident events.
• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a program in digital media, film, photography, communications, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on content creation experience)
• Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms and what performs well on each
• Strong photography and short-form video skills, including shooting on a smartphone and editing for Reels and TikTok
• Clear, upbeat writing skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable managing deadlines
• Reliable transportation to travel between properties
• Nice to have: experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, or Photoshop; a portfolio or personal account that shows your content

Schedule & compensation
• Hours: About twenty (20) hours per week, with some flexibility around class schedules. Resident events may fall on evenings or weekends
• Duration: December 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027
• Location: Hybrid. Remote for editing, writing, and scheduling; on-site at our St. Louis apartment communities for shoots and resident events
• Pay schedule: Paid bi-weekly with Bi-weekly output minimums. Pay is tied to content output. Each two-week pay period, the minimum output is: 10 feed posts per community, 5 Reels/TikToks per community, Stories posted every other day per community, 2 property, amenity, or event photo/video shoot per community. All content must be approved by the Executive Director of Apartment Operations to count toward your total. You will always be paid at least the Missouri minimum wage ($15.00/hour) for every hour you work, whatever your output. This is an internship position and is not eligible for benefits (health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, etc.).

How to apply
Send your resume, a short note on why you are interested, and links to 2–3 examples of professional social content you've created to careers@wolffproperties.com with the subject line "In House Content Creator Intern." Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

OUR HISTORY

Wolff Properties is a family-owned business founded in 1937 by Mary R. Wolff and her husband, Dr. Samuel U. Wolff. Under its Founders’ direction, the Company began acquiring and managing high and mid-rise buildings in the City of St. Louis with a concentration in St. Louis’ Central West End owning, at one time, over 800 units.

During the 1940s and 1950s, Wolff Properties acquired many of St. Louis’ most iconic apartment properties with a particular emphasis in the City’s Central West End.

In 1960, Rita Wolff Eiseman, daughter of Dr. Samuel and Mary Wolff joined the Company. She worked first in a supportive role assisting her mother, eventually taking over Company leadership in 1968. During Rita’s tenure the Company disposed of all of it’s City properties and began transitioning investment to garden style apartment communities and office properties.

Rita married Robert (Bob) Wolff in 1956 and despite the two divorcing in 1973, the joint decision was made to invest together and share offices in Clayton, Missouri. From their union, Steve and his sister Susan Moriconi were born.

Bob had many outside business interests including serving as Co-Chief Executive of Gibraltar Saving and Loan Association from 1957-1986 and as Chairman of Fidelity Bank & Trust which he founded from 1971-1977.

During Bob’s career he also invested in and managed commercial real estate, owning commercial office buildings, apartment communities, single tenant net leased retail properties and land. Bob was an active investor until his death in 2007.

In 1985, the Company sold Park Royal Apartments, its last City holding, and purchased Chesterfield Place Apartments, which marked its initial investment in suburban garden style apartment communities.

Steve joined the company in 1986 and in that year acquired the Company’s first multi-tenant retail center. He has since overseen the expansion of the Company’s portfolio of properties by category and geographical location. Along the way he built the organization it is today.

Jonathan Wolff, Steve’s son, joined the Company in 2018 representing the fourth generation of the Wolff family.

Jonathan Samuel Wolff, great-grandson of Samuel Wolff, was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer of Wolff Properties in November, 2021.
