In-House Legal Counsel

Greenvolt is looking for an In-House Legal Counsel to join our Legal Department and be responsible for the following tasks: Supporting renewable energy projects in Portugal and other jurisdictions; Interacting with various regulatory entities, particularly in licensing procedures for photovoltaic solar and wind projects, biomass plants, energy communities, ACC, and ACI; Analyzing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of contracts; Preparing legal opinions on topics related to different areas of law; Monitoring judicial and administrative proceedings; Prepare, review, and implement internal procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and company standards; Assisting with financing processes and guarantees matters, including reviewing and negotiating related documentation with financial institutions. Profile: Law degree from a reputable university; Admission to the Portuguese Bar Association; Minimum of 2 years of experience in these areas (relevant experience in Corporate, Energy, and/or Finance will be valued); Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus); Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills; Solid legal knowledge across multiple areas of law, particularly commercial and corporate law, civil law, and energy law; Teamwork skills, resilience, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
