About the role
We are hiring an experienced Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to cover the Americas, from North America to Latin America. You will turn inbound interest into qualified pipeline for our Account Executives across the region and, for smaller customers, close deals directly as part of our inbound team.
Location: Colombia (remote or hybrid)
Territory: the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, Brazil)
Languages: Spanish and English at native or near-native level; Portuguese a strong plus
Environment: a very international team working across time zones and cultures
Most of the role is inbound: you respond to and qualify leads coming from our website forms. You will also follow up on and nurture smaller leads generated at events until they are ready for a sales conversation. For smaller customers, you will take the deal from first contact to signed contract yourself, with the support of the inbound team.
Key responsibilities
- Respond quickly to inbound leads from website forms, by email, phone and LinkedIn
- Qualify leads against our criteria (need, use case, budget, authority, timing) and book discovery meetings for our Account Executives
- Close smaller deals end to end: run discovery, present the right solution and pricing, handle objections and get the contract signed, with support from the inbound team
- Nurture smaller or early-stage leads from events and campaigns with tailored follow-up until they are sales-ready
- Run discovery conversations in Spanish, English and, ideally, Portuguese, adapting to each market's buying culture
- Keep the CRM accurate and up to date: lead status, notes, next steps and handover details
- Hand over larger qualified opportunities with clear context so Account Executives can move fast
- Work with Marketing on lead quality, routing and follow-up sequences, and share feedback from the field
- Track and report your activity and results (response time, meetings booked, conversion to opportunity, deals closed)
- Manage your own pipeline and priorities independently across multiple time zones
Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years of experience as an SDR or BDR in another company, ideally in B2B technology or SaaS
- Proven track record with inbound lead qualification and meeting booking
- Comfortable discussing pricing and commercial terms, and motivated to own smaller deals through to close
- Fluent, professional Spanish and English, written and spoken
- Able to work independently: you organise your own day, prioritise leads and follow through without close supervision
- Strong discovery and listening skills, with the confidence to speak with technical and business buyers
- Comfortable with CRM and sales tools (for example Salesforce or HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sequencing tools)
- Organised and data-driven, with a habit of keeping records clean
- Based in Colombia, with availability to overlap with business hours across the Americas
Nice to have
- Portuguese, to support leads in Brazil (a big plus)
- Experience in CPaaS (communications platforms: SMS, voice, messaging APIs)
- Experience in digital identity, identity verification or fraud prevention
- Experience following up on event-generated leads
- Experience closing smaller or transactional deals end to end (for example SMB or self-serve customers)
- Previous work in a multicultural, international team
