Industrial Automation Manage

Role Description The Industrial Automation Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems across industrial facilities. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with a combination of on-site work at customer or company locations and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day tasks include leading electrical and control system design, coordinating with engineering and operations teams, supervising installation and commissioning activities, and resolving technical issues related to power and automation systems. The role also involves reviewing system performance, implementing troubleshooting procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations, and preparing technical documentation and reports. The Industrial Automation Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, support project planning and budgeting, and mentor technical staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including practical knowledge of Electricity and industrial applications.
• Experience with Electrical Design and Power Systems, including system layout, protection, and integration with automation platforms.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting electrical and automation issues, including fault diagnosis and corrective actions in industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and related industrial control systems is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with relevant international and local electrical and safety standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects on a part-time schedule.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment and in a hybrid work setup.
