What you will do:
Industry Data Analysis is critical to Mobility Global’s core value proposition – the ability to deliver relevant data sets and tools to support our clients’ operational business decisions. The Pricing Solution industry data analytics team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing data sets, creating and curating new data assets, and partnering with the broader Mobility Global team to create data-driven solutions for a wide range of additional business problems and industry solutions.
Example outcomes of these efforts may include…
Partnering with product, operations, engineering, and commercial teams to identify client decision support needs and translate to required data capabilities for challenging business problems
Exploring new data assets, tools, and techniques to strengthen existing products, enable new product development, and support enhanced scientific predictions
Developing data capability requirements and business logic
Creating new or derived metrics to capture data relationships and deliver solutions that lead to insights and decision support
Developing proactive, scalable, and extensible analytical frameworks to enable quality assurance within production processes and post-production
Communicating data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
Who you are:
You possess 5+ years of professional experience with automotive point-of-sale data or in an OEM sales operations or retail planning role as a data analyst or similar analytical + technical role, ideally interfacing with data derived from Dealer Management System data.
You possess a Bachelor of Science in a quantitative discipline (e.g., data analytics or science, economics, statistics, finance, operations research, computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical/mechanical/industrial engineering, etc.…)
You have strong written and verbal communication skills that effectively engage both technology teams and non-technical stakeholders
You are able to write and interpret complex SQL queries and are skillful at analyzing large data sets.
You have strong knowledge of Excel and have experience using visualization software packages such as Tableau or PowerBI.
Proficiency with analytical programming languages such as Python or R a plus
You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are adept at not just answering the “what”, but, more importantly, the “why”
You are a team player who is comfortable working with a globally distributed team across time zones
You are curious and thrive when presented with learning opportunities

Compensation for this position will be determined based on factors including geographic location, local market conditions, skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Mobility Global is committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation aligned with local market practices.
