The Steve Fund is a nation’s leading organization focused on promoting the mental health and emotional well-being of young people of color. We are seeking proposals from qualified agencies or consultants to provide influencer talent recruitment services. This RFP includes a focus on securing pro bono influencer work to support our mission through impactful partnerships with social media influencers, advocates, and public figures.

    • Source influencers across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) with a focus on diversity and audience reach among young people of color.
    • Ensure influencers have a strong commitment to mental health awareness, racial equity, and community impact.
  2. Evaluate and Vet Talent
    • Assess influencer engagement rates, authenticity, and past work with other nonprofits or mental health initiatives.
    • Ensure influencers have a positive public image, avoiding reputational risks.
  3. Pro Bono Engagement
    • Facilitate pro bono collaborations where influencers provide support without compensation for select key campaigns and events. This could include social media promotion, event appearances, or content creation as part of their commitment to the cause.
    • Negotiate partial or full pro bono commitments, ensuring alignment with The Steve Fund’s goals while managing expectations and deliverables for pro bono work.
  4. Contract Negotiation
    • For paid engagements, facilitate contract agreements with influencers, ensuring alignment with The Steve Fund’s budget and engagement expectations.
    • Coordinate deliverables such as social media posts, event appearances, panel participation, or content creation.
  5. Campaign Management
    • Collaborate with The Steve Fund's marketing team to integrate influencers into both paid and pro bono campaigns for events, awareness weeks (e.g., World Mental Illness Awareness Month), and key initiatives like Black History Month.
  6. Reporting and Analysis
    • Provide detailed reports on the success of influencer collaborations, both paid and pro bono, including reach, engagement, and overall impact on The Steve Fund’s objectives.
