Information Assurance
Engineer – Cybersecurity
Secret

(work from home-50% travel)
Conduct
security engineering for PM STE on systems identified by the activity in
preparation of future RMF and FISMA activities, completing comprehensive
self-assessments in eMASS, creating draft RMF artifacts such as documentation
(policies, procedures) and network diagrams.
Provide
expert guidance in Cybersecurity Engineering and Asses & Authorize
processes.
Provide
DISA Benchmark STIG files, Scan results for system administrator to remediate
findings.
Ensure
assigned product line cybersecurity-related documentation is current and
accessible to properly authorized individuals.
Collect
information from PM STE staff to accomplish the creation of artifacts and
security assessments in preparation for transition to RMF, preparation for
security assessment or FISMA reviews.
Manage
one product line and maintain situational awareness of the product line.

eMASS Comprehensive Self-Assessment - POAM
Produce
Security Assessments based on DISA STIGs, SRGs and Benchmarks
Requirements
7
years of information systems security experience, specifically associated with
system accreditation/authorization work which may include RMF, DIACAP or a
combination of those processes.
IA
Workforce certifications.
Active
Secret security clearance
Ability
to be issued a SIPR token for use on the SIPRNet and be willing to sign a
Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA).
20%-20%
Travel
CISSP
required
CISSP-ISSEP
preferred (obtainable within 90 days through exam)
10
years of experience in one of the following
o IT systems engineer
o Network engineer
o Systems engineer
o Data architect
o Cybersecurity engineer
o Cybersecurity architect
o Information system security engineer
(ISSE)
o Information assurance analyst
o Technology-specific engineer or
architect (e.g. Active Directory, Cisco, firewall, etc.)
