Information Systems Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic, audit-ready, and hands-on Information Systems (IS) Manager to lead our technology organization. This critical leader will spearhead our transition from a legacy on-premises platform (IFS Apps 10) to a unified, global cloud ERP ecosystem, while integrating data as needed from new acquisitions. Additionally, you will oversee our enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms to deliver real-time, actionable analytics to leadership. As our IS Manager, you will lead a lean internal team and external implementation partners. Your mission is to establish a secure, low-overhead, automated systems environment that supports our global operations and passes strict Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits with zero deficiencies.

Job Responsibilities

ERP Strategy & Systems Leadership

  • Drive the global implementation, configuration, and optimization of our cloud ERP ecosystem, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy on-premises systems.
  • Govern the architecture linking physical supply chain movements (overseas contract manufacturing, inbound landed costs, and Minnesota warehouse fulfillment via Pacejet/Radley solutions) with IFS.
  • Maintain a "hands-off" infrastructure management philosophy by maximizing native SaaS functionalities and minimizing fragile custom code.
  • Manage third-party system integrators, software vendors, and independent software vendors (ISVs) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

SOX Compliance, Security & IT Controls (30%)

  • Partner with Internal Audit and external SOX consulting teams to implement, document, and test ironclad IT General Controls (ITGCs) within the ERP and BI environments.
  • Enforce strict, multi-subsidiary Segregation of Duties (SoD) matrices and user access control frameworks natively within the systems.
  • Oversee change management protocols, data migration audit trails, and system documentation to ensure friction-free quarterly and annual public audit cycles.

Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence (BI) Strategy (20%)

  • Architect and manage the enterprise data warehouse strategy, consolidating transactional data from our ERP, CRM, and global operations into a centralized, high-performance data depository.
  • Lead the design, expansion, and delivery of executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and operational reports using modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse).
  • Ensure absolute data integrity, performance tuning, and secure data access across all corporate entities.

Education & Experience

  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in IT/IS management, with a proven track record leading teams in mid-market or enterprise settings.
  • Direct experience managing or heavily participating in a full-lifecycle ERP migration (experience transitioning from legacy ERPs to modern SaaS ERP platforms preferred).
  • Proven experience overseeing Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake, Tableau).
  • Experience managing systems through active corporate M&A integrations.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Deep understanding of public company compliance mandates, specifically SOX Section 404 IT General Controls (ITGC) and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
  • Solid grasp of hybrid business models (physical inventory/serialized distribution tracking combined with recurring subscription/service contract billing under ASC 606).
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical risks into clear strategic initiatives for executive leadership and board members.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Familiarity with international business operations, multi-currency consolidations, and global tax structures (GST/HST/PST).
  • Direct experience overseeing warehouse logistics technologies, mobile barcode scanning (WMS), and multi-carrier shipping integrations (e.g., Pacejet / Radley).

Location

Hybrid - Plymouth, Minnesota (traditionally in office on Tu, Wed, Thu, remote on Mon & Fri).

Compensation

Base Salary: Starts at $145,000 annually
Bonus Target: 15%

Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
