Primary Details
Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to build, administer, support, and maintain Unified Communications infrastructure solutions in alignment with QBE and divisional policies. Collaborate with a team of specialists and engineers to ensure seamless integration, delivery, and operation of services. Translate architectural designs into operational plans, provide input to overall management, and work with third parties to deliver infrastructure services effectively.
- Location: Ramsey, Minnesota; Fargo, North Dakota; Council Bluffs, Iowa; Madison, Wisconsin
- Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
- The salary range for this role is: $82,000 - $123,000
Your New Role
- Maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical issues, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
- Design, implement and operate IT infrastructure technologies and solutions.
- Create system designs to meet defined business needs, working with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs.
- Understand and identify problems, analyze and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain focus on the whole life of service delivery, ensuring IT products and vendors deliver services.
- Demonstrate lateral thinking to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various technology capabilities.
- Visualize ideal user services and explore different design approaches.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer experience through technical expertise.
- Identify and assess risks within your subject matter area, lead risk-related dialogue as the SME for that domain, and support stakeholders in making informed, risk-based decisions. Mitigate risks in delivery while keeping to agreed plan and timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in regulated industries, ideally finance services, with large distributed environments.
- Experience working within an ITIL service management framework.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
