Part of the firm’s Legal Tech & Innovation Services Group, the team helps the firm identify, assess, implement and scale the technologies and working practices that will support the future delivery of legal services. It owns the AI and legal technology product portfolio across its full lifecycle - from horizon scanning and opportunity assessment, through pilots, business cases, implementation and adoption, to ongoing optimisation and retirement - and leads the AI Enablement pillar of the firm’s AI strategy, including the adoption and effective use of tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Legora and AI agents. The team works closely with lawyers, Innovation Lawyers, Knowledge, Risk & Compliance, IT and firm leadership to ensure that AI and legal technology are deployed in a way that improves client service, enhances lawyer effectiveness, manages risk and supports the firm’s strategic priorities. Becoming an SME for key products and solutions, assisting with training, configuration and further customisation to ensure successful rollout and adoption across the firm. Providing ongoing collaborative and proactive support to lawyers on key products and tools, ensuring any questions or issues are resolved swiftly. Helping to document processes, requirements and use cases, and supporting the monitoring of adoption, usage and benefits. Championing and fostering a culture of responsible innovation, excellence and continuous improvement within the Innovation & AI team and the firm more broadly.
