If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you: MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical license Strong knowledge of primary care and palliative care principles Expertise in pain and symptom management (Preferred) Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (Preferred) Experience in hospice, home-based care, or community-based palliative care programs (Preferred) Prior leadership or medical director experience Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance on pain and symptom management to clinicians and care teams Review appropriateness and quality of non-hospice palliative care services across the continuum of care Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure clinical excellence and adherence to best practices Conduct periodic reviews of patient care delivery and outcomes Ensure timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies Provide ongoing mentorship, education, and performance feedback Lead monthly meetings with palliative care clinicians and support staff Participate in leadership meetings with the Medical Director, Executive Director, and senior leadership Monitor program performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Why AccentCare?
