Inside Sales Consultant
Manchester | Full-Time | Hybrid
We are looking for an Inside Sales Consultant to help convert service quotations into orders across our Fire & Security customer base. Working closely with engineers, account managers, and planning teams, you'll build customer relationships, follow up outstanding quotations, and help drive revenue growth.
What you'll do:
• Contact customers to discuss service quotations and recommended works
• Follow up outstanding quotes and manage a pipeline of opportunities
• Answer customer questions and coordinate with engineers where needed
• Negotiate within agreed pricing guidelines to secure orders
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
• Obtain purchase orders and process accepted quotations for scheduling
• Work towards individual and team sales and conversion targets
What we're looking for:
Must-Have:
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or account management
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-up activities
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Nice-to-Have:
• Experience within Fire & Security, Service, Engineering, or Facilities Management environments
• Experience managing sales pipelines or converting quotations into orders
