About the Role

The Inside Sales Intern will support Fortrea’s commercial growth by assisting the Inside Sales team with market research, target account identification, and prospecting preparation. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the global life sciences and clinical research industry, with structured learning in data-driven B2B sales and commercial operations.

This role is ideal for students interested in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare commercialization, and professional sales careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market and account research on biotech and pharmaceutical companies
• Identify potential target accounts aligned with Fortrea’s service offerings
• Research company pipelines, therapeutic areas, and recent news
• Support prospecting preparation and draft introductory outreach emails
• Maintain accurate CRM records and support lead qualification activities
• Summarize market insights and support internal briefing documents
• Shadow Inside Sales and Business Development activities
• Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related fields
• Strong interest in healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
