Job Summary: This role is critical in transforming inside sales into a high-performing, strategically enabled function—equipping teams with the skills, tools, and confidence to deliver meaningful customer interactions and drive sustained business growth. Essential Functions & Accountabilities: Inside Sales Capability Development Design and deliver a comprehensive learning strategy tailored to inside sales roles across the supported business units (Office, STEM, and Fertility), with a focus on virtual engagement, phone-based selling, and digital communication. Build and facilitate training programs that strengthen selling skills, product knowledge, clinical understanding, and business acumen. Elevate capabilities in areas such as objection handling, call planning, account penetration, and whitespace opportunity identification. Curriculum Design & Delivery Develop and execute blended learning programs (asynchronous and live) for both new hires and tenured inside sales professionals. Create scalable onboarding experiences that accelerate time-to-productivity. Lead engaging, high-impact virtual and in-person training sessions aligned to adult learning principles. Partner with BU Learning and Development Subject Matter Experts in order to elevate product knowledge and application Strategic Business Alignment Partner with Sales Leadership to align learning initiatives with revenue goals, growth priorities, and performance gaps. Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, and other key stakeholders to ensure training reflects current messaging, product positioning, and market dynamics. Support product launches, new indications, and strategic initiatives through targeted training programs. Content Development & SME Leadership Serve as the subject matter expert for inside sales excellence, ensuring training content reflects best practices in remote selling environments. Develop high-quality, compliant training materials in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Manage content lifecycle, including updates, approvals (e.g., Veeva), and ongoing optimization. Learning Measurement & Impact Apply the ADDIE model to design, implement, and continuously improve learning programs. Establish clear learning objectives and performance metrics tied to business outcomes. Measure training effectiveness through assessments, time to performance, behavioral assessment, learning data, field performance, and QBRs adjusting programs accordingly. Cross-Functional Leadership Drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive learning experiences. Lead and influence within a matrixed organization, managing initiatives without direct authority. Support broader Learning & Development initiatives and contribute to enterprise-wide capability building. Continuous Development & Innovation Integrate modern learning technologies, eLearning, and digital tools to enhance engagement and scalability. Stay current on inside sales trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously evolve training approaches. Support national and regional sales meetings with impactful learning experiences.
