The role

As a Specialist you will work directly on the design, implementation and optimisation of insider risk monitoring capabilities across some of Europe's most sensitive organisations, including critical infrastructure, defence, technology and multinational corporate environments, as well as supporting broader information security initiatives within key clients.

You will support our advisory team by bringing deep technical expertise to insider risk monitoring and detection projects. Your primary focus will be helping clients translate insider risk priorities into practical UEBA, DLP, SIEM and monitoring use cases, while supporting broader information security initiatives with key clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute client engagements focused on strengthening insider risk monitoring and detection capabilities across organisations of different sizes and levels of complexity.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables while engaging with senior stakeholders to align on progress and strategy.
• Translate insider risk priorities into practical monitoring use cases, including UEBA, DLP, SIEM, identity, endpoint, email, cloud and data security scenarios.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Drive thought leadership by contributing to new propositions, publications, and trend analyses to inform clients and the public.
• Stay ahead of the curve by following developments in insider risk, cybersecurity, geopolitical risk and monitoring tooling, and translating these insights into practical improvements.

Are you Our Ideal Candidate?

• You bring 4 years + of experience in insider risk monitoring, threat hunting, detection engineering, data protection, DLP, UEBA, SIEM, or related fields.
• You have 4+ years of relevant experience in roles such as UEBA Analyst, SOC Analyst, Threat Hunter, Detection Engineer, Data Security Analyst, DLP Specialist or Information Security Officer.You have a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, computer science, data analytics or a related field.
• You have hands-on experience in designing, tuning or operationalising monitoring and detection use cases, preferably across UEBA, DLP, SIEM, identity, endpoint, email, cloud or data security platforms.
• You have knowledge of digital forensics, cyber threat intelligence, incident response or investigations, and understand how these disciplines support insider risk monitoring and detection.
• You are comfortable in constantly changing environments and have a talent for adapting quickly and effectively.
• You are solution-focused, ambitious, and energised by tackling complex challenges in small, agile teams.
• You can handle confidential information, apply sound judgment and maintain a high level of situational awareness.
• You are fluent and professionally proficient in English; Dutch is a plus.
