Description

Formality review Inspector- Inspectors select appropriate methods from a wide variety of procedures in Formality Review or make simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantive guides and manuals to quality review patent applications.

This position is hybrid and requires that you live within commuting distance from Alexandra, VA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct random samples of all completed Formality Review work.
• Collect and document errors encountered before correcting.
• Complete quality documentation to send report to QA/QM.
• Troubleshoots procedures by observing work in process and report findings to management for further evaluation.
• Backs up Team leads during their absence.
• Explain errors in detail to facilitate feedback.
• Ensure all processes are being done consistently and are using established SOPs/ Work Instructions.
• Routinely assist in employee training and orientation to stress quality of performance; document training results.
• Assist with other quality related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum One year experience as a Formality Review Clerk, meeting all production and quality standards.
• Excellent English speaking, reading and writing comprehension.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree.
• Prior Team Lead experience in Formality review task.
• Prior quality assurance experience.
