Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced INSTAANDA Solution Architect with 15+ years of overall IT experience and a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in INSTAANDA platform implementation, .NET architecture, enterprise solution design, and system integrations. This role requires a seasoned architect capable of leading solutioning initiatives, engaging with business and technology stakeholders, and driving large-scale insurance transformation programs. The candidate should have extensive experience working with US and European insurance customers, understanding their regulatory, operational, and digital transformation requirements. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Design Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for INSTAANDA-based insurance platforms. Define scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and architectural blueprints. Drive architecture reviews, design governance, and best practices across projects. Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to support evolving business needs. Insurance Domain Leadership Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in the P&C Insurance domain. Work closely with business stakeholders to define target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps. Provide guidance on: Policy Administration, Product Configuration, Underwriting, Claims Management, Billing & Collections, Distribution & Agency Management, Regulatory Compliance. Drive business process optimization and digital modernization initiatives. INSTAANDA Platform Expertise Lead solutioning and implementation activities for INSTAANDA Policy Administration solutions. Design product configuration strategies and reusable solution frameworks. Define architecture for policy lifecycle management, rating, underwriting, and customer servicing capabilities. Ensure optimal utilization of platform capabilities while minimizing customization. .NET Architecture Leadership Provide architectural oversight for applications built on the Microsoft technology stack. Design enterprise-grade solutions using: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET Framework, Web APIs, Microservices Architecture, Azure Services (preferred). Establish development standards, coding practices, and performance optimization guidelines. Integration Architecture Define and implement enterprise integration strategies across internal and external systems. Design integrations using: REST APIs, SOAP Services, Event-Driven Architectures, Message Queues, Middleware Platforms. Architect integrations with: Core Insurance Platforms, CRM Systems, Billing Systems, Document Management Solutions, Third-Party Data Providers, Regulatory and Compliance Platforms. Ensure secure, scalable, and resilient integration frameworks. Stakeholder & Client Engagement Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and IT stakeholders across US and European markets. Conduct architecture workshops and solution design sessions. Present solution approaches to executive leadership and clients. Support pre-sales, estimation, and proposal development activities. Team Leadership & Governance Lead and mentor architects, developers, and offshore delivery teams. Establish architecture governance and quality assurance processes. Drive technical excellence through reviews, coaching, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Manage technology risks and ensure compliance with enterprise standards. Requirements Required Skills & Experience Core Technical Skills 15+ years of IT experience with significant experience in Insurance technology solutions. Strong experience in INSTAANDA Policy Administration Platform implementation and architecture. Deep expertise in enterprise application architecture and solution design. Strong background in Microsoft technologies including: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web APIs, Microservices, Azure (preferred). Expertise in API-led and event-driven integration architectures. Experience with cloud-native and hybrid architectures. Insurance Domain Expertise Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance operations. Experience across: Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, Distribution Channels. Understanding of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements in North America and Europe. Integration Experience Extensive experience designing enterprise integrations. Hands-on knowledge of: REST APIs, SOAP Services, Message Queues, Middleware Solutions, Data Migration Frameworks, Batch Processing Architectures. Client & Leadership Experience Proven experience working with clients across the US and Europe. Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills. Demonstrated experience leading global delivery teams and large transformation programs. Ability to influence senior leadership and business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in insurance modernization or core system transformation programs. Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure preferred). Agile and SAFe experience. Strong understanding of security, compliance, and enterprise governance frameworks. Educational Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
