Our client is a long-established premium finance specialist that funds commercial insurance policies for brokers’ business clients. When a business would rather spread the cost of its insurance than pay upfront, our client pays the insurer and the client repays in instalments. You don’t need premium finance experience. Commercial lines exposure is an advantage, but candidates with personal lines experience at a broker or insurer, who already work with premiums, renewals or payments, are very welcome, and full training is provided.
The Role
With strong growth in Ireland, our client is expanding its Dublin team. You’ll work closely with an experienced colleague, supported by the wider UK business, managing finance agreements from application through to renewal. It’s a varied role combining insurance administration, compliance, payment follow-up and daily contact with brokers.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing new finance applications, including credit checks and AML documentation
- Issuing finance agreements via DocuSign and following up on outstanding paperwork
- Handling renewals, adjustments, cancellations and account queries
- Monitoring accounts and following up on missed payments
- Acting as a key point of contact for broker partners
- Supporting the Business Development Manager as broker relationships grow
- Keeping accurate records in line with Central Bank requirements, including the Consumer Protection Code, AML and GDPR
What Our Client Is Looking For
- At least 1 year’s experience at an insurance broker or insurer, in personal or commercial lines
- Hands-on experience with renewals, adjustments, cancellations or premium payments
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Clear, professional communication with brokers and clients
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Experience in credit control, arrears or assessing finance applications would be a strong advantage.
What’s on Offer
- €35,000 to €45,000, depending on experience
- Full training, with an initial two to three weeks in the office
- Hybrid working after training, with Monday to Wednesday in a new North Dublin office and Thursday and Friday at home
- A pension scheme, with the wider benefits package being developed as the Irish team grows
- Scope to develop into sales support, credit control or more senior operational roles as the business grows
