Role Description The Insurance Agent role at MetLife Investment Management is a full-time, hybrid position based in Heliopolis, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Insurance Agent will identify and develop new insurance business opportunities, conduct needs-based consultations with clients, and recommend appropriate insurance and investment products. Daily responsibilities include managing client portfolios, preparing proposals and quotations, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records in the customer relationship management system. The role involves collaborating with brokerage and finance teams, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, and providing ongoing support and policy servicing to clients. The Insurance Agent will also participate in training sessions and market updates to stay informed on product offerings and industry trends.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Insurance Sales with strong skills in consultative selling and relationship building.
  • Solid understanding of Insurance products and coverage options, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Background in Insurance Brokerage or working with multiple carriers, including coordinating quotes and policy placements.
  • Foundational knowledge of Finance, including risk, return, and basic portfolio concepts relevant to insurance and investment solutions.
  • Strong Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, problem-solving, and long-term client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and CRM systems; ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant insurance licensing and certifications, or the ability to obtain them within a defined timeframe.
