Insurance Consultant - Branch Support | Bendigo or Melbourne, VIC

• You will support end-to-end management of customer insurance policies, identify opportunities to retain existing customers, strategically secure new insurance sales, and deepen our customer relationships by identifying opportunities to refer customers to the wider range of financial products and services offered by Bendigo Bank.
• You will foster collaboration and putting the customer first across people, process, sales, credit, stakeholder management and compliance.

To succeed in this role, we’d love you to have:

• Experience delivering insurance or banking products to either face-to-face or phone-based customers
• Proven experience in ethical and compliant sales or retention performance
• A positive mindset, as well as a proactive approach to learning and a flexible attitude toward change, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate information. A confident, professional phone manner, ensuring positive interactions with customers and stakeholders alike
• Ability to work and contribute in a high-performing team culture by motivating, engaging and holding colleagues accountable for their contributions and by sharing knowledge
