Role Description The Insurance Sales Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Heliopolis, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. This role is responsible for promoting and selling insurance products, including life and health insurance solutions, to individual and institutional clients while aligning offerings with their long-term financial and risk management needs. Daily tasks include engaging prospects and existing clients, conducting needs assessments, preparing tailored insurance proposals, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact through policy issuance. The Insurance Sales Specialist will collaborate with internal teams and insurance brokerage partners, provide ongoing customer service and policy support, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and MetLife Investment Management standards. The role also involves maintaining detailed records in CRM systems, following up on renewals, and contributing to sales targets and market development initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in Insurance Brokerage and Health Insurance, with the ability to explain product features and coverage options clearly.
  • Strong Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, empathy, and effective problem-solving for policyholders.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations, underwriting basics, and risk assessment principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based client relationships.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Heliopolis, with strong time management and self-organization skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software for tracking leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant insurance certifications or licensing (where applicable) are an advantage.
  • Ethical, client-centered approach and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive service.
